Slimming World Day 40 – In Control!

After over indulging at the weekend I saw Monday as an opportunity to try once again to gain control.  I started the day with the purchase of fruit for snacking on while at work.  I also did a shop after work and bought plenty of vegetables along with some lean meats ready for the week ahead.

Fruit

Breakfast – Cereal Bars

2 Alpen Light Bars (HEB).  The Banoffee ones are lovely.

Lunch – Smoked Salmon Salad

Smoked Salmon (F); Boiled Egg (F); Peppers (S); Red Onion (F); Lettuce (F); Beetroot (S); Cucumber (S); Tomato (S)Sweetcorn (F)

Dinner – Feta Based Starters followed by Steak

22.5g Feta Cheese (1/2 HEA) cubed and stuffed into Piquante Peppers (F) with 25g Olives (T1.5)

Mini Greek Salad

22.5g Feta Cheese (1/2 HEA) with Spring Onion (S), Tomatoes (S) and 1 Olive taken from the 25g above and sliced, 2 Gem Lettuce Leaves (S) finished with a sprinkling of Dried Mixed Herbs

Chargrilled Steak served with Roasted Courgette (S), Chargrilled Red Pepper (S) and Green/Yellow Beans (S) cooked with a Crushed Clove of Garlic (S)

Snacks – Orange (S); Nectarine (S); Apple (S)

Drinks – Diet Pop; Black Coffee

I love my coffee and recently bought a small cafetiere so I can make a nice cup at work.

Treats total = 8 Olives T1.5 + 25g of Cadbury Marvelous Creations Cookie Nut Crunch T6.5 (not a bad little portion)
